Sightseeing in El Salvador

Travelling has been one of my favorite things to do with my friends and family ever since I was a little kid. I enjoy discovering new and unique places to visit that I’ve never been to before. If you enjoy travelling and are planning on a new getaway to a place that is warm all year round, I recommend visiting El Salvador. The last time I was there was about a year ago and I have compiled the top three places you must visit while you are there. The first go to location is El Tazuman which is a Mayan archeological site in the city of Chalchuapa in western El Salvador. There is a lot to see there starting with the Mayan ruins, the museum, and learning a lot about their history. Make sure to bring a lot of water and some snacks before going because it gets really hot. The next best place to visit is the Santa Ana Volcano, this is one of the tallest volcanos in El Salvador and it is a great place to go if you enjoy hiking and long walks. This hike is well worth it because of the beautiful view at the top, it gets a bit cloudy walking up which makes you feel like you are walking on a cloud. The last place to visit is for the people who love food this place is called Linda Vista Gardens, this restaurant is located on route of the volcano called El Boqueron. Trying to get to this place is a real adventure in itself since you are going up a volcano the whole time. Once you get to a certain location you leave your car parked and the restaurant sends a car to get you to their location because it’s hard to get there on your own. The restaurant is outdoors and very beautiful. The view of the city is breathtaking and there are places to sit and take pictures in the gardens and treehouse. These are three of my top places to visit but there many more to explore.
